Yes, we do know that Iceland and the Faroe Islands are part of Europe.
And we do know that the UK isn't technically part of Europe's mainland... but you get the point! Maybe it's the more urban feel, maybe it's for not being in the middle of the Ocean, but yes, we did feel that reaching the UK made it official: we're in Europe - and for the first time in a long time we are not the ones speaking the better English :D

And what better way to be greeted into a different continent than by Mercedes F1 Chief Designer? He just happened to be at the airport when we landed. We engaged in a friendly conversation without a clue of who he was and, all of sudden, there we were, inside Mercedes' F1 factory! Unforgettable experience.

Just another example of what human interaction and kindness can accomplish.
