Vlog - day25

The saying "calm before the storm" fits like a glove in this one.
We have spent the last few days in Ilulisat, a wonderful place. Absolutely beautiful.
That was the calm bit.

And then the news we've been waiting for finally arrived. We could fly across Greenland.
That was the storm bit. Rainy bit. Windy bit. Foggy bit.

We were losing references due too very poor visibility.
We were 300 miles away from anyone. We were getting nervous. And then it got worse...

Calling on the radio again and again and again. No answer. The point of no return was already behind us. The scenario around us was beautifully dangerous...
And then it became only beautiful, as we made it to our destination, 17 hours of flying later.
What an EPIC relief.
