Detailed Vlog - day42

That's right, we're back home.
Don't panic, though, the trip isn't over! It's just a forced temporary break.

The reason is the following: our authorisation to fly into Pakistan is on hold until July 1.
So, instead of just wait for clearance around Dubai, we decided to spend these days with our families. So here we are, back in good old Canada.

It's a mixed feelings kind of situation... it's great to reunite with the loved ones, but obviously this is a major setback.

So for now the plan is to return into the UAE in about a week and hopefully resume our EPIC journey. And yes, the world record is still possible!
