Detailed Vlog - day27
Here's a lesson for all the young helicopter pilots out there: whenever you read the word "sever", what you do is you take your helmet off and keep your feet in the ground. Or you can keep your helmet on... just don't go about flying.
So faced with a sever turbulence warning we just stayed in amazing Ilulissat - we're still based on Hotel Arctic - and made the best out of the situation: we explored the place from dawn to... nightfall? Well not really "nightfall" because it's still sunny at 12pm... How do we say it? And how does one greet people you meet at midnight? You say "Good day" or "Good night?"
Oh well, it's crazy, our brains can't really understand what's going on, but it's majestic!
